Slide Show Presentation Rubric

Notes Take notes on the given worksheet during the fieldtrip and fill in any holes during the class discussion.	The notes are complete, accurate, based on the fieldtrip and class discussion, and on the worksheet.	Majority of the worksheet is completed and/or accurate.	Little to none of the worksheet is completed or accurate.
Written Report Write a fact-based report without any grammatical, capitalization, punctuation, or spelling errors.	The written report is fact-based and contains no grammatical, capitalization, punctuation, or spelling errors.	The written report is fact-based but does not reflect information from the worksheet or it has 2 or less factual errors and/or it has one to two grammatical, capitalization, punctuation, or spelling errors.	The written report is not fact-based and/or it contains more than two grammatical errors.
Power Point Presentation Create a Power Point slide show on the computer with the aid of the written report and include one picture from clip art, slide transitions, preset animation for each bullet and a total of six slides.	The created Power Point presentation based on their written report and has included at least one picture from clip art, slide transitions, preset animation for each bullet, and a total of six slides.	Majority of the requirements are met.	Few to none of the requirements are met.
Format Use the given format for the Power Point presentation.	The Power Point presentation accurately follows the guidelines given by the teacher's slide show format.	Majority of the slide show directly reflects the teacher's format.	Little to none of the slide show directly reflects the teacher's format.
Oral Presentation Orally present the Power Point slide show.	The oral presentation is enthusiastic and presented to the teacher and peers with a strong clear voice. Speaking is at an understandable rate.	The slide show is presented in an understandable way but lacks enthusiasm or is enthusiastic, but there are times where the presenter is not understood.	Presentation is not understandable because of speaking rate, clarity or strength.
