Contemporary & Cultural Issues
This committee, also known as "Contempo Cult," gives the campus community access to information on relevant and important issues through speakers, debates and discussions. The flexibility of this committee allows for a wide variety of events, ranging from speakers to etiquette dinners, and from foreign films to cultural dancers. Past events by the Contempo-Cult Committee include actor Anthony Rapp of "RENT" fame and author Julie Powell of "Julie and Julia."

What is your favorite part about AMP: My favorite parts about AMP have been meeting lots of new people and planning my committee's first few events. I really enjoy being part of an organization whose programs and events have the power to affect the entire student body.
Where in the world is Scamp (our missing, beloved squirrel)?: Scamp is hiding in the last place we'll look, just like everything that goes missing. He's probably in Siberia by now, though.
Name: Nicholas Ryu
Hometown:Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
Class Year : 2013
What is your favorite part about AMP: AMP is a very remarkable organization to be involved. Whether you are helping find a performer for Charter Day or participating in the Last Day of Classes, AMP creates a myriad of opportunities for students to have fun on campus. I've been able to make great friends through AMP as well as understand the behind-the-scenes work required to make awesome events. If you really want to find a way to give back to campus and enjoy your time at William and Mary, AMP will do all that and more.
Where in the world is Scamp (our missing, beloved squirrel)?: He is currently in the Williamsburg PokeCenter as he lost an epic battle to Pikachu. Currently paralyzed, he will probably return one day to challenge Pikachu to determine who is the world's greatest Pokemon!!! (or the greatest rodent, whichever you prefer.)
Name: Will Bataller

What is your favorite part about AMP: The ridiculously awesome people, and the ridiculously awesome events planned out as a result of said people.
Where in the world is Scamp (our missing, beloved squirrel)?: In our hearts.
