The products advertised by floats and balloons aren’t the only products connected to the parade. There is, in fact, a multitude of products fashioned especially after the event. These products satisfy the desire in many parade goers to commemorate the parade. Memorabilia ranges from clothing to ornaments to books, and includes a variety of trinkets from stuffed-animals and toys to collectible knick-knacks. Some products directly reflect specific floats or balloons, such as the Kermit “Frogtographer” Christmas tree ornament. Others commemorate the event as a whole, like the Macy’s Parade teddy-bear. |
