Washington D.C. Consulting Trip

January 6-8, 2010

This exciting program is co-sponsored by the Mason School of Business, the W&M Career Center, and the W&M Consulting Club.  Students connect with alumni and other professionals in the consulting field through company site visits and a networking dinner. Networking conversations with alumni provide an opportunity to get advice on how to pursue the field of consulting, how to search for internships and jobs, and what it's like to live in the D.C. metro area and work in the consulting industry.   We will visit organizations including: Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte Consulting, IBM, and Navigant Consulting
This trip is limited to 20 students of sophomore, junior, and senior level. Please note that this is a competitive application process and by submitting this application, you are not guaranteed a spot to participate. We will notify all participants by November 16, 2009 of their acceptance.

Program Fee: The $175 program fee includes lodging and a networking dinner with alumni. Lunch will be provided by the participating companies.

Transportation: Participants are responsible for their own round trip transportation to D.C. and metro fare within the city.

Lodging: Two nights lodging (January 6 & 7) in a hotel near Washington D.C.

Staff: Director of the Career Center, Mary Schilling, and Associate Director David Lapinski will accompany the group throughout the program.
