About Darwin Day

Darwin Day is celebrated internationally to commemorate the life and work of Charles Darwin on the anniversary of his birth, and this year would be Darwin's 200th birthday! Events are being held all over the globe: from a public symposium in Auckland, New Zealand, to a "Be Darwin" poetry performance in Burgos, Spain, people are remembering Darwin, and exploring his ideas.
