Students will work in the office of the Chief Staff Attorney reviewing briefs and records filed with the Court, and drafting proposed orders and memorandum opinions. A portion of one day each week will be spent in Richmond. Enrollment limited to four students. VA Third-Year Practice is required. In addition to attending classroom sessions and meeting the time commitment and work product requirements for the externship, documentation must be submitted. Requirements are outlined in a packet available on the handout shelf of the Law Library or through the Externship Manual on Blackboard in the OCS Resources for Students.
