During General Assembly sessions in Richmond, this externship will offer students the opportunity to work in the office of a delegate or senator. Students will learn, among other things, the daily routine of a legislator, the legislative process, and constituent services. Students will be given a rare opportunity to view the political and legislative process with a member of the world's oldest and continual operating legislative body. Students should plan on one day per week in Richmond.
