Sandra Day O'Connor Tells Graduates to Maintain Judicial Independence
Lawyers and judges hold the keys of justice in their hands and judicial independence must be maintained for the country's system of government to work, Chancellor O'Connor told graduates at the Law School's May 14 commencement ceremony. Noelle J. Coates '06 Receives National Writing Award; Law School Receives Record of Distinction Award
Coates '06 is one of 14 law students from across the country who will receive a Burton Award for Legal Achievement at a special program at the Library of Congress in June.
