Law School Hosts Annual Awards Ceremony

Alumni Weekend 2005
The Law School welcomed nearly 400 law alumni and their guests back to Williamsburg for Alumni Weekend on April 15-16. Highlights included the Deans reception, picnic on the Law School lawn, and reunion class dinners. Law Schools Sets New Records for Summer Public Service Fellowships
The Law School has awarded $256,000 in public service fellowships to 90 students, who will work for 72 organizations in 19 states, the District of Columbia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, and Myanmar during summer 2005. The amount of funding, the number of students, and the number of organizations are records for the Law School. Click here to read more.
Courtroom 21 Project Offers Training for the Legal Community
The Courtroom 21 Project, a joint project of the Law School and the National Center for State Courts, offers training and legal education programs throughout the year. Upcoming programs include Technology-Enhanced Trial Certification Course for Litigators, June 13-14; Digital Discovery in the Real World - Tools to Equip a Lawyer in Trial or an ADR Setting, June 24; "Courtroom Technology: A Survey Course for Litigators," Oct.10; and Persuasive Courtroom Presentation Technology: A Hands-On Course for Litigators, Oct. 11.
