Law School’s Annual Fund Sets New Record; Giving by Alumni Tops 30 Percent for First Time!
It’s official! Contributions by alumni and friends to the Annual Fund totaled an historic $1,259,303 for the year ending June 30. This is an increase of almost 14 percent over last year. In addition, alumni participation exceeded 30 percent for the first time. Click here to read more.

A Boost for Legal Education: Commitment from Clark Foundation Spearheads Fund Raising for New Law Library
The Law School broke ground on a 28,000-square-foot library addition this past spring which will be followed by a renovation of the existing building. The new complex will serve the Law School well into the 21st century, with nearly every seat wired for computers. Almost two-thirds larger than the existing library, the new complex will also house group study rooms, a computer training laboratory, space for students working on law journals and more shelf space. Save the Date! Alumni Weekend, April 7- 8, 2006
Alumni Weekend 2006 will be here soon so please mark the dates on your calendar and plan to join in the fun! Classes celebrating reunions include 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996 & 2001 ... but all Marshall-Wythe alumni are invited to attend. Brochures and registration forms will be mailed in early 2006.

William & Mary 51st Tax Conference, November 10-11
Titled “Taxing the Real (Property) World: A Program for Advisors to Privately held Businesses,” this year’s conference at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg offers lawyers and accountants an in-depth look at current topics in tax law.
