Law School Welcomes Class of 2009
The 204 members of our first-year class hail from 39 states, D.C., China, and Korea, and were selected from more than 4,200 applicants. Applications increased at Marshall-Wythe while nationwide applications declined more than six percent. The class has a median undergraduate G.P.A. of 3.64, a median LSAT of 165 (the 93rd percentile) and its members possess a remarkable range of backgrounds and talents. We are also pleased to welcome 13 LL.M. students and three exchange students from Austria, China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Italy, Great Britain, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea and Thailand. It’s Full Steam Ahead for the Summer 2007 Opening of the New Law Library
Last July, a temporary library opened in the newly constructed addition. It now houses part of our collections (the rest are stored offsite). The old library is being gutted as a prelude to its complete renovation. A splendid new library should come on line early next summer. Click here to read more. Upcoming Events Offer Opportunity for Virginia CLE Credit
