The Advocate is the award-winning, biweekly student newspaper of the William & Mary School of Law. First published in 1969, The Advocate offers feature articles on topics of interest to the law school community, as well as news, sports, editorials, and humorous and political commentary.

In an effort to provide a continuing forum for discussion and debate, The Advocate welcomes submissions from all members of the law school community. Because the editors recognize the demands of legal study, students are encouraged to join The Advocate staff and contribute articles or photographs as their other time commitments permit.
