A-k Verb A is (doing something)
Foosi-k waika? Is the bird flying?
Foosi-k waik. The bird is flying.

Statements are often made by dropping the last vowel of the question:

talok ommi? is it a rock?
talok om it is a rock
  hifooska? is he/she breathing?
