In 1986, Leslie Cheek, Jr., created an endowment at The College of William & Mary to establish a national award for outstanding presentation of the arts. The Medal is bestowed to a person who has substantially contributed to the field of museum, performing, or visual arts.
The award is given every few years. Please read about the last ceramony in 2011, and check back for news on future awardees. |
