A shining star: Farewell to Holloway
President Nichol says farewell to Holloway. Courtesy of Dining Services.
After serving the campus community and illustrating her dedication to William & Mary Dining Services for 47 years, Mary Holloway has retired to spend more time with her family, friends and loved ones. President Gene Nichol and Vice President of Auxiliary Services Administration, Charlie Maimone, joined in wishing Mrs. Holloway a much deserved retirement farewell.
Friends and family gathered as well sharing their heartfelt wishes for Mary and her new adventures in retirement. Mary is a sweet, friendly lady who all students, faculty members, fellow employees and managers felt was a “Gem” in our dining family. If you were having a bad day you could count on Mrs. Mary’s smile to put a little cheer in your day!
Dining Services and the College will feel a little void with out Mary. She has shared so much and brought such spark and joyfulness to campus and will be missed by all who knew her.
