Become a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate (SAPA)

SAPA Advocates male and female undergraduate and graduate students who are trained to provide information, resources, and support to anyone on campus dealing with a sexual assault related issue. SAPA Advocates are on-call 24-Hours/Day. Contact sapaxx@wm.edu for more information.


SAPA Support Group for Survivors

Each semester, SAPA organizes a sexual assault support group for interested students who have experienced a sexual assault or are supporting a friend who has experienced a sexual assault. If you are interested in attending a support group, please contact trhuns@wm.edu for more information. Support groups are led by counselors from Avalon.


Every 2 Minutes

Every 2 Minutes is W&M's all-female sexual assault peer education group. Every 2 Minutes presents a program on sexual assault to all incoming students.

Sexual Assault Peer Advocates

If you have been sexually assaulted and want more information on available options, contact a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate 24 hours a day by calling 757-645-8367. Advocates are students trained to provide non-judgmental help and support for those dealing with sexual-assault related issues. Email: sapaxx@wm.edu.
