Become a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate (SAPA)

SAPA Advocates male and female undergraduate and graduate students who are trained to provide information, resources, and support to anyone on campus dealing with a sexual assault related issue. SAPA Advocates are on-call 24-Hours/Day. To become a SAPA, fill out and return an application to sapaxx@wm.edu or Campus Center 154 by Ocotober 5th. Contact cdpere@wm.edu for more information.


SAPA Support Group for Survivors

There is a women's open, peer support group being held every Thursday from 5-6pm this fall. The group is led by a counselor from Avalon. If you are interested in joining the group or receiving more information, contact trhuns@wm.edu or call 757-645-8367. If you can't attend at that time, but would still like to attend a group, contact cmcovington@wm.edu or trhuns@wm.edu


Every 2 Minutes

Every 2 Minutes, a female sexual assault peer education group is recruiting new members. If you are interested, please fill out and return the application to Campus Center 154 by October 2nd, 2009. Please contact cgdipr@wm.edu for more information.

Sexual Assault Peer Advocates

If you have been sexually assaulted and want more information on available options, contact a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate 24 hours a day by calling 757-645-8367. Advocates are students trained to provide non-judgmental help and support for those dealing with sexual-assault related issues. Email: sapaxx@wm.edu.
