An Open Meeting for Survivors of Sexual Assault and their Supporters

    While classes are in session, campus and community members are invited to join an informal, confidential, and supportive environment for coping with sexual assault, by sharing or simply listening. Individuals in all stages of the healing process can help themselves and others by choosing to take control of their experience. Supporters who want to understand what has happened to someone close to them or who want to promote sexual assault healing are welcome to attend as well. The meetings, sponsored by ASAP and guided by Avalon's Community Outreach Specialist, Laura Wyatt, can be as structured or spontaneous as the participants would like. Refreshments provided.
