Alliance for Sexual Assault Prevention

The Alliance for Sexual Assault Prevention welcomes our new sexual assault educator, Trisha Hunsaker

 

Trisha Hunsaker graduated from The College of William and Mary with a degree in Anthropology and English. Before becoming the Sexual Assault Educator at William and Mary, she worked for Avalon: A Center for Women and Children as the Volunteer and Education Coordinator and as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Navy. Trisha is a certified trainer on the issues of domestic violence, sexual violence, and law enforcement response to sexual violence.


Trisha’s mission as the Sexual Assault Educator is to:

-be an available resource for anyone at the college seeking more information on sexual assault related issues

-provide spaces where all students feel comfortable talking about sexual assault related issues

-foster a greater understanding of the dynamics of sexual assault and the impact it has on our community

-work with Every 2 Minutes and the Sexual Assault Peer Advocate Program, providing training and education
