Sexual Assault Awareness Week (April)
"Sexual Assault Awareness Week" is, as the name implies, a weeklong campus-wide event which generally culminates in "Take Back the Night," a rally and march that is one of our organization's most well-known events. Events held during the week, besides "Take Back the Night," include movie screenings, discussions, speakers, musicians, and more. The purpose is to raise awareness of the often-ignored problem of sexual assault in general and, in particular, how it affects women. (However, male sexual assault victims are also recognized during this week and are invited to share in the events and/or speak about their experiences if they wish.)
Take Back the Night (April)
