Socials

Schoolwork, philanthropy events, and activities with other campus organizations all factor into a Gamma Phi Beta's busy lifestyle. In addition to that, our social chairs plan fantastic events every semester. Whether we're dressed our best for one of our formals, or hanging out a mixer, Gamma Phis know how to have fun.

Our formals take place once a semester, when sisters and their dates take over the dance floor for an unforgettable night. A variety of date parties and mixers changes things up. Past mixer themes have included Jersey Shore, Cinco de Mayo, Mathletes & Athletes, Country Club, and Never Have I Ever. Our date parties are always a hit, whether we're playing pool and dancing at the Library Tavern or visiting the Corn Maze!

Each year, W&M sororities and fraternities pair up to celebrate Homecoming together. In 2011, Gamma Phi Beta and Alpha Tau Omega will be working on building a float for the Homecoming Parade, as well as having mixers throughout the week. On the day of the big game, we'll grill hamburgers and hot dogs at the tailgate before going to cheer on the Tribe!
