Occasionally, the IR club hosts speaker events for club members. In the past, the club has been fortunate enough to hear from professors on campus as well as those who work in different fields related to international relations. In fall 2008, a former United Nations employee spoke on her career as a diplomat for the United States' government. There will be some upcoming speaker events in spring 09.
