Crunchy Pizza Loaf

What you need:

What you do:
1. Orient the baguette horizontally, and cut from it the top 1/3. Remove most of the fluffy, white innards, but without piercing the crust.
2. Sprinkle cheese inside, and place the thinly sliced vegetables on top, positioning the wettest (ie. tomatoes) closest to the top.
3. Turn your oven's grill or broiler onto medium-high, and then place your masterpiece therein.
4. Bake until the vegetables have cooked through, and the cheese is bubbling.
NOTE: If you overdo it on the vegetables (especially ones with a lot of water in them), you run the risk of ending up with a rather limp, tasteless baguette. Don't say I didn't warn you!

SERVES: One as a meal, three as a snack. Goes best with beer and some good T.V.
