- General Biology - 6 (with laboratories)
- Organic Chemistry - 6 (with laboratories) - CHEM 206 + CHEM 207 or 307
- Inorganic Chemistry - 3 (with laboratory) CHEM 103 & CHEM 308 or 305
- Physics - 8 (with laboratories) calculus based is not required
- Biochemistry - 4 - BIO or CHEM 414
- Nutrition - KINES 350
- Microbiology (with laboratory) - BIO 440
- Cell Biology - BIO 406
- Genetics - Genetic Analysis (BIO 420), Molecular Genetics (BIO 442)
- Math - 3 - Algebra and trionometry or higher. Statistics does not meet this requirement.
- English - 6 - 3 composition, AP credit not accepted for this 3 credits (they have been known to take some of the freshman writing seminars to fulfill this but double check)
- Arts & Humanities - 6 - two more more of these subjects: history, literature, art history or appreciation, music history or appreciation, theater history or appreciation, philosophy or religion.
