Sorry about the delay on this guys, I was waiting on some info, which I still don't have, so it was futile. Anyway, here it is. Whoo hoo! Last week is over!!!! You made it through another Thursday! I never could quite get the hang of Thursdays. And Daylight savings time is over!!! Having been born in a state without it, I dislike the practice. The best thing about it is when it ends. Anywhy.. OFFICER'S REPORTS FROM THE PREZ Hey! Greetings from Nekocon! I'll bring the T-shirt list to Skiffy one more time on Monday so that people can sign up for shirts one last time. I'd like to thank the people who volunteered to sell candy grams. We're going to need a few volunteers to get candy, and help deliver some of the candy grams. Let me know if you're interested. Also, for Halloween Christmas Caroling, meet in the UC by the ATM at 4:30pm on Halloween, which is this Wednesday. We should be departing between 4:45pm-5:00pm. Be ready to sing. Well, that's all I have to say. Stick around for "Cool as Ice". Chao. RESIDENT DABO GIRL Homecoming rocked!!!! It rocked hard core! Oodles of props go out to Cammy, Megan, Aaron, Clarissa, Matt, Seanie, and myself (natch) for showing up at the asscrack of dawn in the freezing cold to Time Warp down DoG street. The half ass award goes to Peter who stripped on Richmond Road to join us once the parade was nearly over. Charlene who showed up at 9 to do nothing but laugh at us gets nothing at all. Richard and Kristine, two of our fantabulous alums get cool points for coming to the parade and for not loosing their Skiffy roots. We love you guys! We achieved smatterings of applause, laughs of all sorts, and more than a few looks of abject horror. I was proud to be Skiffy. Also, Tom and Sean Pearson rock even tho' they weren't at the parade. RPG report: We have three RPGs up and running -- two D&D campaigns and a White Wolf campaign -- and there is another D&D campaign that I am not sure of the status of. This adds up to lots and lots of RPG action. To my knowledge, nonoe of these games are still open to new players, but if you are a GM and are looking for players, email me at atgies@wm.edu and I will announce it in the newsletter. In other news, I am starting an In Nomine campaign. In Nomine is a role-playing game based on the conflict between Celestial beings, angels and demons, over the fate of humanity. Some angels want to preserve peace on earth; others want to destroy the demons whatever it takes. Some demons want the entire world to go up in smoke; others want the humans race around forever, doing evil to fuel Hell's power. Then there are the humans, caught in the middle, and the ethereal spirits, incarnate dreams, who are banned from Earth by Heaven and exploited by Hell. This game has a lot of potential, and I'd welcome anyone to join. If you're interested, email me at atgies@wm.edu. We will be playing at 7:00 on Saturday evenings, beginning on November 17. This is to give everyone time to make a character and talk with me about what you want out of this game -- several people who said they were interested haven't even responded to my emails, so I think this weekend might be a little too soon. However, November 17 is a hard starting date. I promise I will not delay the beginning any further after that. Hope everyone has had a fun weekend, whether at NekoCon, Homecoming, or otherwise.
