"Colonel" H. Davis Waller is the seventh patriarch in a long line of plantation owners dating back to the early 1800's. What many people do not know is that Davis's great-great-great-great-great grandfather invented the sport of Ultimate in 1834, when he threw a dinner plate 65 yards across the foyer of the Waller mansion to hit his butler, whose attention he had failed to get with other methods, directly in the head.
