Wesley Foundation Board:
These are the terrific people who work behind the scenes to make the ministry of the Wesley Foundation happen. They oversee every aspect of Wesley's life, and are comparable to a local church's Administrative Board or Administrative Council. Appointed by the Virginia Annual Conference, its 35 members include students, faculty and staff from The College of William and Mary, as well as other members of local United Methodist congregations who want to strengthen Christ's presence and power on campus. The Board gathers five Saturdays a year for breakfast meetings, and its committees (each one has at least one student member) meet regularly to deal with nuts and bolts issues that aren't very sexy but are essential to our life together.
David Hindman, our Campus Minister:

David Hindman is the Director of the Wesley Foundation and the United Methodist Campus Minsister at the College of William and Mary. People who write resumes would want to know boring stuff, like he has a B.A. in Sociology from Randolph-Macon College, and graduated from Union Theological Seminary/Presbyterian School of Christian Education not once but 3 times (D.Min., M.A., and Ed.D. degrees) -- is he a glutton for punishment or what? He is an ordained United Methodist minister and has been at William and Mary since 1988. |
