Now is the time for all good club members to come to the aid of their club!
Hey, folks, and it's time for another newsletter. Do you
guys want a room for any special events the anime club might be having? Well,
better tell us within twelve hours of receipt of this message, and before
Thursday at four. We'll be doing room assignment stuff all night, which is not
especially fun, but necessary. If you want to show up there, I'll be running a
role-playing game for the science fiction club, but other than that there's not
an incredible draw.
Last week's pictures did not come out
well, so we'll be taking more this week and not developing them at CVS. Sorry if
this is inconvenient for all of you camera-shy members. Also, to complete your
part of the page, send us a short bio, if you haven't already. I strongly
encourage you to lie liberally; there's no good reason that the people on the
web should have a good idea of what you are truly like. Just be reasonable. You
can't have saved the galaxy more than once.
We'll be
cleaning the room here again on Friday in case we have a great demand for RPGs
or Ani-Mayhem or something, should one arise. If there are any other ideas that
you would love for the club to do, please speak up. Without your input, the club
is merely the Council (Aaron, me, and G'xqlx) and a bunch of videos. Be active.
Revel in the anime.
You know, it would be fun merely to
re-dub one of the animes on the Cartoon Network for accuracy and humor. For
legal reasons, it would have to be kept in the club, but it would be an
activity. Just one of my suggestions. Let's hear yours.
Next week's meeting is somewhere in Blair, probably the second floor, at 7 PM on
Friday. Someone remind me to make sure a door is unlocked for stragglers; a
bunch of latecomers got locked out and missed the climactic ending to 3x3
Eyes. It was cool.

As for last week's hard question, Tina and Marc got it. Van's face is dirty, and Melve is cleaning it.
HARD: Gel and the Evas -- What's the connection?
EASY: Better social
skills: Pai or Key?
HINTS: Gel, as we all know, is the pink stuff used to power the robots in
Key the Metal Idol. Evas are from Evangelion. Pai is a demon with
multiple personalities from 3x3 Eyes, and Key is a being who talks very
slowly.
