WMAS Newsletter #16

"..." -Rei

Ajou Heavy Industries declined to comment on allegations that they extracted Leonardo DiCaprio's gel, at his request, in order to prepare him for his role in Who's Eating Gilbert Grape. Leonardo has declined both Hard Copy's and Animerica's requests for interviews.

In related news, Ajou Heavy Industries denied the rumor that Jim Carey is in fact a stray, malfunctioning PPOR sipe.

In unrelated news, we saw Utena, Fushigi Yuugi, and Tenchi Muyo (OAV, of course!) We still need bios from several people. Those of you who have not submitted bios will soon be subjected to some sort of unspeakable punishment of my choice (note: Rob has been very moody since he's gotten braces >:-> )

Also, Aaron will be bringing his camera to the next meeting to take photos of anyone who still needs to have a picture taken of them for the web site.

New episodes of Pokemon are coming to television soon, strangely enough, this seems to have prompted WB program schedulers to move Pokemon to a currently undisclosed location. If any of you find out when it's on, please tell Aaron before he suffers from major Pokemon withdrawal.

Big news: Katsukon is taking place the week after next. Those of you who are planning on going should tell us at this meeting. I'm sure everyone would love to know exactly where they'll be staying that weekend. ^_-

Quasi-Trivia Questions:

Last Week's Answers
Easy Question: Yusukei Urameshi. Although he is not the perfect choice for a duck sauce, he is a better choice than Ryoga. As most of you know, Ryoga turns into a small black pig when splashed with cold water. Pork and poultry, particularly a light duck sauce, is a culinary no-no. Also, despite being dead, Urameshi is people... people taste like chicken.

Hard question: Hohotoro. His hair is brown and has better body to it, giving him that feminine touch. While Allen comes in a close second, his hair is a little too light and straight to properly wear a black, mini- skirt.

This Week's Questions:
Easy Question: Greater "Animal Magnetism"- Ranma from Ranma ½ or Tenchi from Tenchi Muyo?

Hard Question: What is in Brock's special Pokemon food? Brock is one of the pokemon trainers who blindly follows Ash through the entire series. He occasionally brags about his homemade pokemon chow. Enquiring minds want to know what it's made of.

Hint: "Animal Magnetism" is being able to attact many numbers of the opposite sex. Tenchi and Ranma both have this characteristic.
