WMAS Newsletter #19
"I've got your Western Black
Magic right here, buddy."
The Surgeon General recently released the following
findings concerning anime. Nine out of ten dentists
agree: Sailor Moon will rot your teeth. Pokemon
will not cause seizures, however it is still advisable to keep
your pikachu away from common household appliances like TVs,
microwaves, and sub-space communicators.
In local news, Tom has been continuing his valiant efforts to
prove to the greater William and Mary community that the WMAS
does indeed exist and is not just a clever scheme for Aaron to
spend college funds at the Cons.
For those of you who weren't at the meeting, we watched Fushigi
Yuugi (Ancient Chinese blood transfusions), Vision of
Escaflowne (Van's just sooooo cute! Meow!), and Tenchi
OAV (The story of a boy, his cabbit, and a house full of the
most powerful women in the galaxy... and Mihoshi.) We were
also treated to a campaign speech by Scott Moore who is running
for SA president. Tina is whoring herself to the student
body for him. Maybe we should make her job a little easier
and vote for him.
Quasi-Trivia Questions:
Last Week's Answers
Easy Question: Dilandau. Ben said it best: "Jinnai
is an egotistical megalomaniac, which means that he will
sacrifice everything other than his self in order to gain power
and/or revenge. Dilandau is just a psychopath. He likes hurting
things. Jinnai is more results-oriented, and knows what he's
doing is wrong. He just doesn't care. Dilandau is a fruit."
Hard question: Pikachu. Those pokemon seem to get
into the darndest places.
This Week's Questions:
Easy Question: Greater destructive power: Lina's Dragon
Slave or the Macross' (SDF-1's) Main Gun? As you should
know, Lina is from Slayers and the Macross is the
protagonist starship of Macross (Robotech in the
US.)
Hard Question: Why do all Japanese school girls, when travelling
in a foreign country, on another planet, or on an alternate
dimension, seem to think that the best outfit for travel and
adventure is their school uniform?
Anime Deathmatch Weekly:

Web Sites of the Week:
http://members.tripod.com/~masqurin/adopt.html - Adopt a Pikachu. Bob Barker advises you to have
your pikachu spaded or neutered. There are too many
homeless pikachus out there. Be part of the solution, not
the problem.
http://members.limitless.org/~mingling/neko.net/ - Neko.Net: A Tribute to Tama-Neko-Chan. Maybe
this page will finally answer the burning question: Why
does Yui lob a white cat at Miaka every time Fushigi Yuugi
goes to commercial?

your answer to the easy question:
