WMAS Newsletter #24

"I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee."

Aaron trying to get space for the Anime Club next year.

Death rages on and no one is leaving their back unchecked.  Yeah, it's that Killer thing again.  Tina and I have agreed not to kill each other while writing the newsletter.  Words are cheap.  (Drop the gun....)

At the Meeting we watched Utena, Escaflowne, and Giant Robo.  And, thanks to a mandate passed by Aaron, no one was killed.  At least, not for Killer, anyway.  For the pre-anime, gaming hour, we enjoyed several Playstation racing games, from the wackiness of Rockman: Battle and Chase to the frightening attention to detail of Gran Turismo.  Next weeks feature will probably be the SIX-player simultaneous mayhem of Guardian Heroes, for those of you who thought that Panzer Bandit was laid-back and subtle.  (And the handcuffs....)

On a personal note, after much study and debate, we have determined that the Anime Club officers are nothing like the Utena Student Council.  We just thought that you should keep that in mind.  Although we'd love to have an elevator like that.  (And the baby seal....)

Quasi-Trivia Questions:

Last Week's Answers
Easy Question: Megatron is more evil than Galvatron.  Why do we know this?  Megatron turns into a gun (and proves that guns do kill people.)  Galvatron, on the other hand, turns into a purple thing.

Hard question: There were several answers to how best to kill Yakumo, involving meat grinders, nukes, piano wire, fire, and super glue.  The best answer is, of course, a spoon.  Why?  Because it is dull, you twit.  It'll hurt more.

This Week's Questions:
Easy Question: Who is a worse side-kick:  Chu-chu from Utena or D's hand from Vampire Hunter D?

Hard Question: Which anime's cast would throw the best Frat Keg Party?
