The original line from when Allen just finds out about the whole Dilandau/Celena thing (or a representation of what's going through the mind of your average Evangelion pilot.)

Well folks, we had a rather... lightweight meeting this week.  Thanks to the combined efforts of the King and Queen Ball and a raging storm, we lost half of the club and a bit of the power.  But, we still managed to watch some Escaflowne.  Oh, the dedication!

Anyway, next week is our last meeting, so we're hoping that everyone shows up.  Tina will be wearing her black mini-skirt (and that's all.)  And if that weren't enough, we'll be finishing off the last two episodes of Escaflowne (unless, of course, there is a sudden change in the way everyone votes.)

In honor of our last meeting, we'd like to have a small WMAS Awards Ceremony.  The nominees are any of the series we have seen this year.  Please cast your votes for each category and send them to us this week so that we can present them during the last meeting.  And without further ado, the categories are...

Best Anime Series
Best Individual Song
Best Soundtrack
Coolest Character (Male)
Coolest Character (Female)
Coolest Character (Other)
Best Anime Couple
Worst Anime Series
Worst Individual Song
Worst Soundtrack
Best Anime Wardrobe
Worst Anime Wardrobe
Best Line in an Anime Series
Most Memorable Moment from the Club

Quasi-Trivia Questions:

Last Week's Answers
Easy Question: Sharon.  This is mostly based on Sharon's ability to sing in multiple parts on any given song, having the powers of hypnosis, and all that cool CG stuff.  Aaron, however, claims that the greatness of an idol singer comes from their seiyuu.  In which case, Miho wins.

Hard question: Hitomi's hair.  While Tina Wagner claimed that it was because Dornkirk was considering a new hairstyle.  The reason Dornkirk is looking at Hitomi's hair is because of those to little antennae-like hair.  He is trying to figure out what sort of effect they might be having on his Destiny Prognostication Engine.

This Week's Questions:
Easy Question:  Which of Dilandau's late-Dragonslayers is his favorite?  Dalet, Gatti, Guimel, Miguel, Shesta, or Viole?
Bonus:  How can you tell them apart?

Hard Question:  How much shorter is girl-type Ranma than boy-type Ranma?

Web Sites of the Week:
http://members.tripod.com/~WeddingPeach1/ - Akane no Cherry.  No this isn't actually a hentai site, but it had you fooled, didn't it?

http://www.j-entertain.co.jp/eto/index-e.html - Eto-Rangers.  Got kawaii?

http://home.hkstar.com/~patrickn/eva/movie.htm - Evangelion Movie Page.  The main reason I chose this page is for it's picture of the director of the Eva series.  For those of you who know the series, it explains so much.
