"To Inform When We Are Not Lying, and to Lie When We Are Not Feeling Very Informative"
- Our New Motto

Message From That Guy
It's been another fun week, although yet again I got there late. That'll stop as nightfall gets closer to 6PM. Anyway, This week I would like to edify you by saying that Lemures is, in fact, gay. You guys did not take his statements at all wrong. Unfortunately, he never seems to actually die, so in the manga he comes back to make Miyu's life hell repeatedly. Too bad, huh?
Almost done with installment #1 of "What I Really Did in Japan," which is an absolute lie. Speaking of what I actually did in Japan, I did buy some pencilboards, which will be distributed to the two librarians with the highest number of votes. We have both an attractive Evangelion theme (with Rei in a pyrex flask) and a Steam Detectives theme. Please state which you would like after winning the position.
I am very, very close to having an RPG up and running, involving magical girls sponsored by various NGOs. Those with an interest please tell me what afternoon time that is not Tuesday or Thursday at 8PM-10PM is good for you. Thanks.

Message from >(*.*)< or the Officer Formerly Known as Robbie
Nekocon R is taking place from November 5 - 7. I went there last year and had a spectacular time, so I suggest anyone who has a chance to go to head out with us to picturesque Virgina Beach to live out our (non-hentai) anime fantasies. Everyone who is interested please tell me so that we can see if we can get in under the group rate. That way, we can knock a cool $3.50 (roughly equivalent to lunch under the campus meal plan) off the registration rate and reserve hotel rooms for those who decide to stay for the whole weekend. For more info, check out the Nekocon R website at http://www.eskimo.com/~nekocon.
Also, tell me if you're interested in doing a cosplay skit at Nekocon. The cosplay will be on the sixth. Please tell me as soon as possible so that we can figure out everyone's schedules, a script, costume, etc.
One last note, we are currently working on the web page and we are planning to put up a roster with mini-bios. Please, write your bios when you have a chance and give them to me, the guy who looks like Ranma with no muscles. Failure to submit your bios can result in horrible... consequences. Just ask a few of the older members about it.

Tina's Column
I've picked up a new job in my role as Secretary. Not only do I have to keep all the administrative details straight, I also have to keep track of club funds. If you want to pay for member dues, which are $5 per semester and $7.50 for the year, than please GIVE ME YOUR MONEY! This will cover access to the library and will prevent us from stalking you. I will be collecting money at all club meetings and if you want to pay me at some other time, please contact me or just find me wandering about on campus. Chances are I will be either in the UC, classes, or Preston 321 with >(*.*)<'s roommate :) Please make checks payable to "Tina Liu." Since we don't have an actual bank account, I have to keep all the money in the confines of my home.
Important things to know about librarians. All the officers, as well as Ben, have agreed to have all those who showed interested in becoming librarians to be able to work with the library (Note: I say work "with" the library). For our meeting on Friday, the main issue will be to vote on a Head-librarian. The main job of the Head-librarian will be to catalogue and keep track of things in the library. Of course, jobs can be distributed as the Head-librarian sees fit for the other candidates. Bascially the other candidates that aren't voted as Head-librarian get to be the slaves. . . um, keepers of certain parts of the library to bring to meetings. Candidates aren't barred from campaining for the top position, but are barred from bribing the officers, pimping themselves, and causing bodily harm to others. The candidates are Mike "Proteus" Canada, King "My Name Sounds like an Anime Character's" Chan, Jillian "I Lost My Marbles" Kallman, Abby "Firestorm" Reed, Julie "The Officers Can't Spell my Last Name" Viehwig, and Tina "The Ring Cycle" Wagner.
The officers also want webpage designers. Basically they will help update the webpage with information pertaining to club related events. Anyone interested in becoming a webpage designer, please email the President Aaron Seigo at aseigo@hotmail.com or call him at x6230.
On a side note, I have been given a mission to try and "borrow" money from the Student Assembly for money to possibly help pay for a Con. I will update you all if I am successful in kissing a little SA butt for the sake of the club. Unfortunately, I also have to whore myself for club benefits.
