Well, we've got eight people, who have yet, who have said that they are definitely going to Nekocon R.  With the six or so people who've said maybe, we have enough people for the group discount.  The registration rate comes out to about $27 per person.  The rate for rooms at the hotel run about $72 per night.  The technical limit is four people per room.  But, as the Nekocon R web page says: "Or however many you can squeeze in.  You don't tell, we don't ask."  So, depending on how much we want to spend, we can have anywhere from major to extreme character-building time together.  I'll bring the group registration form to the next meeting.  I'll be paying for this venture through my own account, so make your checks payable to me (hee-hee!)  Since the government is slow in recognizing name changes, make the checks payable to Robert Dieterich as opposed to >(*.*)<

Also, write you're mini-bios.  If you don't, I'll send you to bed with no Lodge 1 pizza (that's a punishment?!?)  I'll also give you warning as to when I'll burst in with a camera to take pictures, so that you know when to look you're best.

Tina's Column
At our recent meeting, we finally decided who, amongst the many, will finally get to have control over the WMAS library.  After 10 minutes, 5 speeches, and countless phrases of mockery, Mike Canada finally won.  He beat out Abby Reed by one vote.  But Abby does get to take home a consolation prize of one pencil board that Ben brought back from Japan.  Mike gets to win control over the library, official title of Head-librarian (and gimp), a pencil board, and countless hours of cataloguing and sorting.  Hopefully, (if Mike isn't too tied down with his other office *ahem*) we will have the library up and running. 

With that though, I'd like to remind everyone to pay their member dues.  If you do not pay your member dues, we can't do anything to you except you will suffer from my constant harassment.  The member dues are $5 a semester and $7.50 for the whole year.  You will not have access to the library if you haven't paid your dues.  For anyone who tries to check things out of the library without paying their dues, they will endure strict punishment . . . from all the officers (and their roommates).

Just a reminder for anyone who might be interested in becoming the web designer for the WMAS web page.  Please contact Aaron for more info.  We will check next meeting to see if anyone will be willing to donate their blood, sweat, and tears into the effort.

Here's an update in my quest to get more money for the club.  After sleeping with all members of the SA, they all told me that I have to check with Student Act ivies.  In other words, "We can't help you, but come back again sometime."  I have come to one conclusion, never whore yourself without getting the money first.

One other thing, I just realized that compared to the other officers, I write a whole hell of a lot of crap in these newsletters.  Does anyone ever get bored of that?  Is there a problem here?  Am I the secretary or something?  Oh yeah, I am.
