Message From That Guy
This week is "Be Mad at AD Vision" Week. Your job, as loyal club members, is to send letters to ADV Films telling them everything you dislike about their translating, dubbing, or sales tactics. Good topics are:
- Why the hell do you sell two episodes a tape when everyone else sells more per tape for the SAME PRICE?
- Where do you get off blacking out the title screens?
- Why is Sonic the Hedgehog dubbed only?
- If you don't cut it out, we're going to buy only stuff from other people. In fact, we'd rather buy Animeigo's crap than any top series from you, 'cause at least it's CHEAPER, YOU MISERLY SCUMBALLS!
By the way, ADV Films's address is:
ADV Films
Southwest Plaza Building
5750 Bintliff #217
Houston, TX 77036-2123
Remember, we do Miyu again next week. 6:30, unless the world ends, in which case we'll need you guys to raise the Eva from under the sunken gardens anyway.
Oh, and if Bumblebee got the Autobot matrix of command, he'd become a new beetle. Pure turbonium. And with a big trailer. Why is this important? It isn't, really, but it seemed my space was a bit short today, and I was talking about the Transformers movie earlier...

Tina's, um . . .
Ok everyone! Let's recap what we watched last week: Slayers Next, Maze, and Berserk. If you ever wondered who looked better in make-up, you should have been there. But that's beside the point. I had fun doing the voice for Miyu, even though I can't even say shinma correctly ^_^
But now for some administrative things to say. First off, I would like for everyone who is going to Katsucon to e-mail Joe Mama at anisoc@mail.wm.edu or Rob at rodiet@mail.wm.edu. You need to include the time on Friday, February, 12th when you would be willing to leave W&M. Note, the car ride is 2 and a half hours (2 if I'm driving). So please send those responses in so we can arrange rides. Also, if you are going to Katsucon and have a car that weekend, which is in working condition, please e-mail Rob as well. We need some more people to transport fellow members up to Arlington. The sooner the responses, the sooner we get organized.

You know, after seeing Zodd I kind of think immortality would make a great Christmas gift.  Well, if you could get decent price on it on eBay, that is.  Anyway, we depart for Katsucon in 10 (yes, 10) days.  Almost everyone has paid up so now, I need to know where you plan to stay during Katsucon.  If you have connections in Arlington and intend to stay at someone's house, please tell me.  If you intend to stay in the hotel room, please tell me that as well.  I'd like to know just how many people we need to cram in one place.  Please, please, please tell me as soon as possible.  If we need an extra room, I'd like to try to reserve it before they run out (which might be the case, so I guess we could have people sleep in the 7-Eleven across the street from my house.)

As for you cosplayers, I'd like to see if we can have a bit of a run-through/prop-making meeting sometime, maybe this Sunday.  We could fine-tune the script and gossip while we sit around and make props and costumes.  I think it sounds like fun, or maybe I've been watching too much Home and Garden Television....

Hey everyone. I've so far gotten in most of your responses to the T-Shirt order. here's a revised list off the top of my head:
All officers - Lodoss cast

Josh - votes for Tenchi... if you want otherwise, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Liza - Lime
Kevin - Otaru
Kara - Lina
Tom - Gourry
Sarah - Ameria

If I have forgotten anyone, please e-mail me. I'm setting the deadline for requests at the meeting on Friday. If you're still undecided, prepare to face the wrath of Christina.

Poll Question:
If Ben was going to be forcibly dressed as a Sailor Scout, which one would he be?

Quasi Trivia Questions:
Easy: Better with makeup, Male Maze or Zelgadis?

Hard: What is Xellos's secret, and how does it relate to Victoria's Secret?

BONUS: Describe your dream date with Zodd the Undying. Then describe Amelia's dream date with Zodd the Undying.
