I got a pleasant surprise today in the form of no Arabic lit class. So I had to walk through the Williamsburg rain. Oh, well. Saved me the trouble of explaining why I don't have the book done that I was supposed to read. And then I get the joy of writing this! Heh heh ... can you find the subliminal messages in this article? Try reading it backwards.

Anyway, we interrupt this random rambling to let everyone know that ACen registration is still open. Please let me know if you plan to go, because Tom and I need a Xellos for our cosplay. The costume is already done. All you need to do is memorize three short lines. Oh, yeah, and pay prereg. But ACen's going to be fun, so you should all go.

Oh, right. I said I was going to reveal the sordid secrets of the CLAMP kids this week. Well, unfortunately, I received a phone call this morning from Caska, Juri, and Shia Has threatening to sue me for my entire video collection if I dared breathe a word of the Vegas weekend. Sorry, guys.

Hey club members! It's that time again, where I fill my space with whatever I feel like. First, let me say that we'll have Miyu as soon as I enter the script into the computer. If I don't get it ready until Friday, I'll have the scripts at the club. Trust me, I have at least one handwritten copy.

In other news, on April 15, I and one lucky volunteer (all the officers are busy) will go and possibly talk to prospective/new transfer students. When Blow Hall e-mails me, I'll tell you when. Please volunteer.

Third, I'm now obsessing about one feature of the WMAS website, which will be called Sailor Moon Beyond. Feel free to ask me about it, if you like hearing the brain dump of the man second in scary only to our club blowfish (figure that one out for yourselves). The skeleton is there, and when I feel like it more will be added. If Sailor Moon Beyond sounds like something you want to be a part of, please tell me. Remember, MY e-mail address is NOT where this e-mail came from.

And I hope to have located that missing Tylor tape by next meeting. I'm really sorry. That's not one of the things we do on purpose. What do we do on purpose? You will learn that in two weeks' time...in the meantime, I'm wondering what else Nokoru has on Suoh and Akira. If their respective girlfriends ever got a hint of what happened Vegas, especially that limo with the jacuzzi...no wonder Suoh puts up with the mess in the office.

The Secretary of Death's Constant Ranting
Yo! These are the videos that we watched last week: Slayers Next, Maze, and Saber Marionette J. For this Friday, we will watch lots of Anime and indulge ourselves in the fun of . . . Berserk (shudder). After all the indulgence of Anime, you could opt to indulge in the "Taste of Asia." A few people from WMAS will be participating in "Taste of Asia." It's only $8 before Saturday and includes food. If you don't have anything to do on Saturday, come out and see Mike pose as the Rose Bride.

Oh, just to remind you all, the Anime / Skiffy Dance will be on April Fool's. For all those that have any requests for the dance, e mail Rob. Don't worry, we will play Junk Boy. Be sure to get your costumes ready. I know I'm ready :)

Well, it looks like I'm trying for a record here, sending out the news letter a mere 12 hours before the meeting.  Ah, the joy's of procrastination and Choir Tour.  If any of you were wondering where I was on Friday, I was, by that point, in Durham, NC singing for my supper.  The six days of sleeping at host familiess' houses and living out of a bus were, at least, educational.  Actually, I enjoyed myself greatly.  Now I just need to make up a week's worth of work.  But, that's normal.

And as you're probably noticing, a large number of our members are being dragged off to rehearse this Friday.  I'm afraid that I'm one of them too.  Trust me, I'm irked about missing two meetings in a row.  Don't worry, guys, you will see me again sometime.  I swear.  Or, then again, maybe some of you should consider going to Taste of Asia on Saturday, hm?


Librarian's Stuff
Hey everyone. not much to report this week. Miyu and I will be missing club this week for Tastes of Asia practice, so among other things, no library stuff and no Death Car (Tina's Sisyphean project). I'm going to try to cycle in Tokyo Babylon and a few more artbooks next time. If there's any interest among Tastes of Asia participants, we might watch a little bit of anime on Sunday in light of the Dress Rehearsal on Friday.

Aside from that, how, you may ask, is my life as the Rose Bride?
