Message from That Guy
No get, no get. I'm stuck in my room with an injured leg. Maybe I
should make Tom carry me around. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well, it's been a great year, and I've really enjoyed being That Guy for
as long as I have been. I can't wait to come back next semester, when
we'll have new videos that I'll know even less about than the ones we
have now. Ben, I demand a briefing. Help me out here, buddy.

At any rate, remember Utena stuff. Scripting over the summer. Send
suggestions and one-liners to kdhuss@mail.wm.edu Send, please send!
I'm in desperate need of funny stuff. Show your love for Blinkie the
Goat, and next semester I'll bring in the new "Pink Lemonade" trailer
that ACTUALLY HAS MY VOICE in it! *crickets* Yeah, well, I was
excited.

Aspirin ...

Still the President
Hey members! I'm back, and I have to say that Satomi Hakkenden will be postponed until next semester. Not because you don't want it, but because I don't have time. This week is pretty dang hellish in terms of work I have to do, and the translations just aren't going to be made. Sorry.
I'm supposed to tell you I love you. Just in case you forgot or something (guys -- what the hell are you telling me to say?). I've pretty much got nothing more to say, so I'll hand it off here to someone capable.

Tina's Hack N' Slash
Hey everybody! This is what we saw last week, Tylor, Violinist of Hamlin, and Kenshin OAV. We finally got to see the end of Tylor as well as the first two episodes of the Kenshin OAV with the most skilled swordsmanship and killing anyone has ever seen.
Right now I'm watching the Berserk game off the Dreamcast and I got to play a bit of it, but all I did was Hack N' Slash. I am definitely not the furnished swordsman as Kenshin in that game. It was kind of fun having Ben, Aaron, Rob, and Mike all yell "Push the slice button, Tina! Kill them, don't run into a wall!" The basic objective of the game is to kill everything in sight . . . go figure. But I'll see you next week as Rob hacks and slashes through some tarot roots.

I am the Alpha and the >(*_*)<-mega
Well folks, it seems the year's wrapping up and it's now time for the 2nd Annual Anime Awards. Here's the drill: send in your nominations for the various categories, we'll make ballots, and we'll tabulate and announce the results this Friday during the meeting.
Now, since this is my typical shtick, who would like to join a growing crew of us heading to Otakon. If you're planning on going to Otakon and would like help with hotel or transportation stuff, please let us know. Otakon is August 4 - 6 and is the biggest con on the East Coast. Also, let us know if you'd like to join us in our cosplay endeavors.

Mike's Da
Hey everyone! The year's almost wrapped up. Hope everyone's had a great year! Not much new to report here. Hopefully next year, I'll have all of Revolutionary Girl Utena to show (all 39 episodes).
Attention librarians: Talk to me at some point before school ends to arrange a drop off of all library material. Also, anyone who's still got library material out, please return it by next meeting.
That being said, I hope everyone enjoys the anime awards--at least for me one of the highlights of last year. Any case, take care!
