Howdy-doo! It's your friendly neighbourhood That Guy, taking a break from my stagecraft take-home exam to watch Aaron throw Flute off cliffs. It's fun.

At any rate, those of you who missed Team Non-Frilly as the Negavision Extra Squad missed some good Negabunny. Our dubbing session was hella fun, and while we'll only be doing one more mass dubbing session (if any) before everyone toddles off home, I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities next semester (also considering we've got the Utena parody dub coming up ... ahem). Thanks to everyone who showed up! We had much fun!

Well, now I'm off to finish that exam. Does anyone know what the curtains at PBK are made of?

Hey all! I have two things to say this week:

1) I plan to have the web page up and running by the end of the week. If you have anything to say, make sure I know about it like, now. Thanks. If you want to actually write a page, be my guest. E-mail them to or Rob.

2) Next year. What do you want to do? Here are my suggestions, but I'm just nuts. Add more:
·       A roleplaying game. I'm hoping someone will want to act on my Cat Girl/Elf Girl conflict ideas, but probably we'll act on something involving the WMASchaton (what's that? Stay tuned).
·       A work of interactive fiction that's so bizarre I won't even try to explain it.
·       Yet more manga in translation, probably Satomi Hakkenden
·       Anything you want

So, tell me what you want. I love input.

Shinesman Powdered Fairy Blue
Hey everybody! This is what we watched last week: Shinesmen, Bubble Gum Crisis 2040, and Maze OAV. We laughed, have fun, and were shocked beyong belief. But that's ok ^_^

Next week is our last meeting of the year this time we won't make you cry (like that at least). But as the new Shinesman Powdered Fairy Blue, I will try to bring peace, justice, and Anime to Williamsburg will you all are away. Ok, love you, bye, bye now!

Shinesman Light Mushroom Cream
Hey everyone, Well, the school year's just about over (what the hell happened??). This is your penatent librarian here. First off, I hope no one was too incredibly disturbed by Maze OAV. I saw it only once about a year ago and didn't remember much except it was a bit on the ecchi side (of course I'd forgotten how much exactly). I wasn't big on seeing it again, but thought I'd give people the option of seeing it if they wanted. Next time I'll issue a better disclaimer.

In any case, I'm already looking forward to next year. If there's anything anyone would especially want to watch in club, contact me and I'll see what I can do. Next year, we'll probably have new as well as some old favorites (including a few from last year). Also, anyone who wants to buy their own anime (please do) and show it in club, do so by all means. It's nice mixing things up a little bit.

Finally, if anyone has any ideas on how to streamline the library system, I'm open to suggestions. Instead of selecting librarians scattered across campus, we might have a centralized library in Japanese House as most of the officers will be residing there.
