News from that Guy
It seems that my attempts to organize a "Dance Dance Revolution" viewing are continually thwarted.  So what I'm going to do is plan a meeting and announce it now.  And the meeting will be ... right after this week's meeting!  Everyone who's interested in SCRIPTING report to Jefferson Basement after the meeting.  If my roomie decides that she needs the room quiet for studying (yeah, she studies on Friday nights), we can head over to the lounge and watch there.

Eh ... what else was I supposed to talk about?  Ah, right.  The first two episodes of "Utena" featuring the Boys of the Black Rose (one night only, two drink minimum), the last part of "Memories" featuring a smelly boy and a fat man pulling his cord, and "El Hazard," featuring funny bugs, funny laughs, and funny transvestites.  Tune in next week and see Makoto Mizuhara get a sword pulled out of his chest.  Come on, you saw that one coming.

Presidential Address
Hello, my fellow clubmembers.  We've run straight out of Satomi Hakkenden volume 1, so club begins tomorrow at 7PM, giving me a good two weeks to get new transparencies and translations.  I have some choices available.  We can either do more Hakkenden, or we can switch to Kamikaze Kaitoh Jeanne, a girl's series about a girl who throws chess pieces at demon-infested paintings.  I like it, and if you want a change, that's one.

On the RPG front, I will be bringing my stuff to the meeting, so if you're there, you get a character generated.  I insist.  But I'll be coming in a little late, so don't expect me there as you walk in.

>(~_~)<

Well, first of all.  I'm afraid that this week will not be a dress-up TJ funny week.  I actually won't be at the meeting because I'm being pulled away on a Canterbury retreat to Shrinemont.  By the way, if you want to see some of those TJ photos, take a look on my computer.  My computer is Gehirn in the Anime Club group.  The pictures are in the "Photos" directory.  Anyway, we're currently putting the draft of the cosplay script through editing and we'll see about getting you guys copies as soon as we can.  If you have any costume questions or comments, please let me know.

Tina's Sexy Voice
Hey guys, how are you all doing?  But I have a few small administrative things to tell you all.  All those interested in going to Nekocon and want to stay in the hotel overnight, there is a $20 hotel deposit fee.  This should just be paid before Nekocon so you have about 2 weeks.  This money is going towards paying for the hotel.  The total per person for the hotel will probably be around $40 or so but the rest of the hotel cost will need to be paid for after we figure out the total and factor in the $20 deposit fee.  You can give me your deposit fee either at the club meetings or call x6232 and we'll have an envelope, just make sure you give us your name so we know if you paid the deposit or not.  Thanks :)

Library of Mirth
How's everyone doing?  Fortunately things have been a bit more sane this week despite two essays looming overhead for myself.  Right now I'm staring at a giant chicken head across the room.  Yup... Kenshin Boo is the newest member of J-house.  Or at least his disembodied head.  Well, technically we have his body too, since Shawn the Touched has taken up temporary residency in the president's room.  So if anyone needs to borrow a chicken head... or happens to need some chicken wire, ask one of the officers.

Not much to report for the library.  Let me know if anyone wants to borrow the last several Utena tapes--a lot of people still haven't seen them and I want to make sure everyone gets the chance.  We live to serve.  Sorta.

Quasi-Trivia Questions
LAST WEEK:
POLL QUESTION: What would you wear on board a space garbage collection scow?  Nothing from Victoria's Secret, unlike Miguel.

EASY QUESTION: Better death: the kitten from Utena or the little girl from Memories?  I don't know, it depends.  Have you ever seen the end of Braveheart?

HARD QUESTION: What will Parn do once he finds out that Deedlit is really a man? (Oops, spoiler! Sorry!)  Well, according to the Doujin... (*whack whack*)  We're sorry.  The person responsible for that answer has been sacked.

THIS WEEK:
POLL QUESTION:  Which officer's Spirit Sword would you like to pull (a la Utena)?

EASY QUESTION:  Allelle's outfit: better with or without pants?

HARD QUESTION:  Just what were the people in Cannon City from Memories firing at?
