Headlines

The William and Mary Anime Society (WMACAFFEISINEFFECTIVE) will be meeting this week, as usual at 7:00 pm on Friday in Tyler 336. Aaron will once again be bringing his dance-dance gear (two hard pads and all the Japanese mixes, including the newly purchased 5^th mix) to Tyler 336 before the meeting. This time he will be there at 5, so as to cram in more crunchy yummy dance-dance.

Con News

Thank you for shelling out your dough for Nekocon. We feel no guilt about taking the money your parents gave you. If you actually earned the money... well, we still don't feel guilty, but at least we won't gloat. The registration has been sent out. If you still want to go its up to you to register, check out www.nekocon.org for more info. Now we must discuss rides and hotels. There is a ride leaving 11 am sharp on Friday the 25^th, anyone who can make that time, please send an email to notify us. More ride news to come.

We are offering two hotel rooms right in the con hotel. You can chose to stay in one of the hotel rooms and pay, or in Michelle Mallett's house for free. Of course, the hotels are more convenient for some who want to stay late at the con. And if you stay at Michelle's house the "no breaky" rule applies. If you DO mess up the house, try to tell Michelle so she kills you before her parents do. She's gentler.

Cosplay news

We can still use another person or two for the G&S SDF Macross cosplay, so if you're interested send an email. Also, if you want to do your own cosplay, go for it. Feel free to send an email here for sending to the mailing list. WMAS has a history of award winning cosplays, and we want to help you continue that tradition.

Dues

People who haven't paid dues yet should definitely do so soon. If you don't pay this week Shannon might do to you the same thing she did to that poor, cute little squirrel that got in the way of her bike. If you don't want to pay dues you can play dance-dance naked instead. Unless you like that kind of thing, in which case we'll pretend not to know you.

Shameless Plug

Aaron is still selling his VHS tapes. He is selling all the tapes from Saber Marionette J, Slayers and Tylor. Tapes go for $10 apiece, and are in Japanese with English subtitles
