Christie Langlois trained
for 10 years at
the Metropolitan Ballet Academy
outside of Philadelphia,
PA. She has
performed soloist roles in
classical ballets such as Sleeping Beauty (Bluebird), Paquita,
Raymonda, Napoli,
and Swan Lake, and contemporary ballets such as Toward the Light
(choreographed
by Kanji Segawa), Marcello (choreographed by Andrew Pap), and Sorrow’s
Cycle,
Gloria, and Touch of Your Voice (choreographed by Jessica Lang) with
the
Metropolitan Ballet Company. Christie has also trained briefly with the
Central
Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in Carlisle, PA, with the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C.,
and at the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts with a
concentration in
ballet, and has performed with the Moscow Ballet and the Pennsylvania
Ballet.
She is starting her senior year as a chemistry major at the College of William
and Mary and has been with their modern dance company, Orchesis, for
three
years.
