Dan Plehal graduated
in May from William and Mary's Department of Theatre where he spent
three years studying physical theatre. He performed in two physical
theatre-based productions, 4.48
Psychosis (W&M Second Season, D.C.
Fringe) and Mnemonic (W&M
Second Season), as well as the original
incarnation of Rapid Eye Movements (W&M
Orchesis Dance). His career
with W&M Theatre has included acting (View from the Bridge,
Amadeus, All's Well that Ends Well), lighing design (Shakespeare's
R&J, DancEvent, Evening of Dance, Mother Courage - asst.),
and
scene design (Mnemonic, Mother Courage
- asst.). Dan was also a 4-year
member of Sinfonincron Light Opera Company, for which he directed two
award-winning musicals, The Secret
Garden and The Pirates of
Penzance.
He is currently beginning his pursuit of a career in theater in
Washington D.C.
