Dear Parents,
Parents' Place is a new column in Link Lines devoted to providing information
to parents of children with disabilities. This column will include listings
of informational web sites, reviews of books and videotapes available in the
TTAC library, and brief descriptions of strategies to facilitate home-school
partnerships. If you have a question or concern that you would like addressed

The following web sites present a wealth of information for parents about current
legislation as well as strategies for the new school year.
No Child Left Behind is a web site that provides answers to questions about the new education law signed by President Bush on January 8, 2002. http://www.nclb.gov/
LD online is a web site that focuses on the needs of students with learning disabilities. http://www.ldonline.org
The Schwab Learning web site is designed as a parents' guide to children with learning differences. http://www.schwablearning.org
