One of four privy features at Site 44PY178, Feature 1 extended to bedrock (about 2 feet below the topsoil). Along the left side are traces of the wood planks that lined the pit. The soil in the pit contained more than a thousand artifacts, probably dumped when the privy was abandoned some time after 1932.
