This privy feature at 44PY181 was typical of others found on the Front Street sites. Often they were fairly shallow, wood-lined, and dug down to the bedrock. Some of the items recovered from the feature include a shoe heel, a 1917 penny, bottle glass, metal fragments, and animal bone.
