Tablewares 1

The sample of ceramic sherds above is representative of the wide array of tablewares found at the site, including, a - tin-enameled earthenware (Delftware) plate, b - Rhenish blue and gray stoneware mug, c - Rhenish blue and gray stoneware jug, d - white saltglaze stoneware bowl, e - Chinese porcelain plate, f - Chinese porcelain saucer, g - English porcelain saucer, h - white saltglaze stoneware plate, i - Chinese porcelain cup, j - creamware bowl, k - refined earthenware cup, l - Colonoware bowl. The base fragments at left are from a "loving cup," a two handled drinking cup usually intended for ceremonial occasions.
